n-SPACE: Skirmishes on the Galactic Frontier

This is an original tactical miniatures game for very small squads (each player could have as few as three models, at most 11, and most likely only about 5). This is a sci-fi skirmish game where each player creates a unique commander character and selects a squad from their faction to support them. n-SPACE’s central mechanic is the use of cooldown dials to track how long it’ll be until a model’s next action. Some actions are extra powerful, but give their model a long cooldown before their next action.

These rules are at the alpha playtest stage.

Flower Power! Magical Heroes of Peace and Love

A one-shot roleplaying game I designed about magical, transforming hippie superheroes in the late 1960s.

Simple rules, based on the Powered by the Apocalypse system. No prep needed, just print off the playbook sheets for the players, maybe print off everything and staple it all together like a zine, you do you. You’ll just need a few minutes to grab characters and set the scene.

Not tested at all, but also “game balance” isn’t really a thing for this style of game.

Playbooks for Monster of the Week

Here are a couple of playbooks for the RPG Monster of the Week, giving players some options with a slasher movie theme. The Final Girl killed the first monster she encountered and never stopped fighting. The Innocent suffered a tragic loss, but carries on nonetheless, powered by hope.
